The Jotun Steelmaster range is a comprehensive family of intumescent paints for the protection of steel against fire and excessive heat.
It only takes minutes for unprotected steelwork in a building to reach temperatures of around 550ºC in a fire.
At this temperature, steelwork quickly loses its load bearing capacity and the structure is likely to collapse. This gives people little time to react to the situation and evacuate, and much less time for the fire service to bring the fire under their control. As a result, building regulations and legislation insist on fire protection to upgrade the fire resistance of buildings and the Jotun Steelmaster range provides ideal solutions for standing up to the intensive heat of fire.

Steelmaster 60WB, is a specially formulated, water-based, thin-film, intumescent coating that provides up to 90 minutes fire protection of structural steel exposed to cellulosic fire.

Steelmaster 60/120
Steelmaster 60/120 is a specially formulated solvent based thin film intumescent coating that offers up to 120 minutes of fire protection for steel and can be applied both on and off site.
It can be used as a mid coat or a finish coat in atmospheric environments
