With this function, the waveform may be moved towards the negative part with respect to zero. This allows for the creation of a highly penetrative and accurate fusion bath, allowing for the welding of extremely light gauge sheets with an electrode tip equivalent to that of a DC - TIG electrode. Our AC/DC TIG power sources have an adjustable value that varies from 0% to 80% (in terms of DC - half-wave percentage).
When welding large gauges, the MW-TIG Extra Fusion for Aluminium feature is not recommended since the DC+ component is inadequate to enable effective part cleaning (pickling) throughout the welding process.
